It was the greatest day of his life

This weekend we took Brock to Six Flags. Initially, we didn’t tell him where we were going because we didn’t want him to drive us crazy asking us “How many minutes until we get there” (he does this all.the.time)

Just before we pulled into the parking lot, Brock saw the giant Farris Wheel:

By the time we paid for parking, he was so excited, he was screeching, “Oh! My! Gosh! I’m SO excited!! We are at the funnest place on EARTH!!!!”

Which he continued to scream while we were in the parking lot, when we bought our tickets and when we walked in and they take your souvenir picture.

Obviously he! was! excited!

The first ride we got on was The Scrambler. I was worried that it would be too much for him but I was proven wrong when he was laughing maniacally and screaming, “This is the greatest day of my lllliiiiiiiiiffffffffeeeeee!!!!”

It was definitely one of the best days of my life, too.

  1. Love the pictures! Can’t wait to talk to him about it tonight. He was too tired to tell us anything when you all came home Sunday night! Don’t think it will hold the same appeal to the princess! Glad you all had a beautiful day to take him. Evidently he didn’t get your queasy stomach for rides. And I loved that he tried to scare his dad on the rides. Such a brave boy to ride and not be scared and help daddy overcome his fears.

    • Initially, I felt really guilty about leaving Adrianna behind but it ended up being so much better. We didn’t have to split our time between the kids and they don’t get to be the absolute center of attention very often. And there were several rides that he rode that she absolutely couldn’t have because she’s too small.
